These terms govern access to and use of the GeoRec mobile application and the GeoRecApp.com online platform. Using the mobile application or accessing the platform means accepting these terms.
2a. Use of the GeoRec mobile app
The GeoRec mobile application is free and offered as is, without warranty. The user is solely responsible for its use and for keeping geolocated recordings made with the application safe. These recordings are stored on the user’s mobile device. Features and operation may vary depending on the mobile operating system, its version, device customisation layer or configuration. GeoRec assumes no responsibility or warranty for its operation.
2b. Accounts and use of GeoRecApp.com online services
GeoRecApp.com includes the main domain and any subdomains used for technical purposes. An account is required to use certain features. Users must provide accurate information, keep their credentials confidential and report any unauthorised use of their account.
Team accounts may be administered by the person or entity that purchases them, which is responsible for managing member invitations and permissions.
3. Content provided by users
Users are the sole owners and rights holders of notes, files and other content they record in the GeoRec mobile app or upload to GeoRecApp.com. Users grant only the permissions necessary to host, process and display that content within the service according to its privacy settings.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not use the GeoRec mobile app or GeoRecApp.com online services for unlawful activities, to infringe third-party rights, upload harmful content, access other accounts or interfere with the security or availability of the service. Access may be limited or suspended when these terms are breached.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and secure, but maintenance, updates or improvements may be required. We may change features or these terms and will report material changes through the platform or available contact channels.
6. Liability
No warranty is offered for the use or operation of the free GeoRec mobile application. Users should make appropriate backups of essential information and use the service responsibly. Data stored in GeoRecApp.com services can be exported at any time.
